These Terms of Service constitute a binding agreement between you and Journey ("we", "us", "our"). They outline the rules and restrictions that govern your use of Journey’s app and services (hereinafter referred to as “Journey”). For any questions, comments, or concerns regarding these Terms or our services and products, please use the feedback options within the app.

By using Journey in any capacity, you signify your agreement to all these Terms, which will remain effective during your use of Journey. These Terms encompass everything stated in this document as well as those specified in the Privacy Policy.

Content on Journey

You retain ownership of your journal entries and any other content you create or store in Journey. Your content is protected by copyright and any other applicable intellectual property laws and is stored locally on your device.

We expect users to use Journey in a respectful and lawful manner. We are not responsible for monitoring or managing the content you create or store in Journey as it is stored locally on your device and is not accessible by us.

Service Availability

We aim to provide Journey's services continuously, but there may be times when the app is unavailable due to technical issues, updates, or maintenance. We will strive to minimize the duration and frequency of these periods, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to Journey. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by such interruptions.

Acceptable Use Policy

You hold responsibility for all your activities in association with Journey. Ensure your use of Journey aligns with the law. If your use of Journey is barred by applicable laws, then you are not authorized to use Journey. We cannot and will not be accountable for your unlawful use of Journey. You also concur that you will not use Journey in a way that:

• Is fraudulent or threatening;

• Attempts, in any manner, to obtain the password, account, or other security information of any other user;

• Violates the security of any computer network, or cracks any passwords or security encryption codes;

• Decompiles, reverse engineers, or otherwise attempts to obtain the source code or underlying ideas or information of or relating to Journey.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, under no circumstances and under no legal theory shall Journey, its licensors, or its suppliers be liable to you or to any other person for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind, or any amount, in the aggregate, in excess of the greater of (1) $100 or (2) the amounts paid and/or payable by you in connection with Journey.

Terminating Your Account

Journey reserves the right to terminate (or suspend access to) your use of Journey, or your account, for any reason at our discretion. We will attempt to provide prior notice to you before terminating your account, but we might not do so if we deem it impractical, illegal, not in the best interest of someone’s safety or security, or otherwise harmful to the rights or property of Journey.
